Welcome, fans and supporters of Comic Watch to our brand new website! Our little grassroots organization dedicated to sharing our love of fandom has grown so much and it couldn’t have been possible without all of you. You might have seen our trilogy of live streams on social media recently exploring what we called the Death & Rebirth of Comic Watch and honestly, this article is about those events, but more importantly it is a thank you for everything that you, our readers gives to us.
This platform of what we call comics journalism and what Comic Watch means to us has grown more important in our downtime. With our own death and our server migration failures behind us, and what we feel to be our best times just ahead of us, we thought it would be a good time to express our gratitude to our readers, the many publishers who support us and everyone who has helped Comic Watch over the years. The best is yet to come and we are thrilled to share it with all of you.
Our Rebirth is an exciting moment for us, but we aren’t done yet. If you look around our freshly designed website, you will see the influences of many different people but we’d like to give a special thank you to the one and only Deron Bennett of Andworld Design. Though we had already started our conversations of working together, he was there in our time of crisis and really gave us a lot of hope with his brilliant work. He designed our brand new logo and helped us package the website with new fonts to deliver the best reading experience we can.
It’s truly outstanding.
The future of Comic Watch is brighter than ever before and we are excited to follow up with new giveaways, news announcements and more as we hit the ground running again to deliver the best fandom news and reviews around. To start, we’ve launched our very own TikTok page found at @ComicWatchHQ so head over there for exclusive content and a whole new way to follow Comic Watch!
So one more time, thank you all for the patience and support during this transition and we couldn’t be more hyped for what the future holds!
