After the successful launch of the first line of titles in the new Energon Universe, Skybound released a trailer yesterday for the interconnected universe. The video teases plotlines across the budding universe, pulling from series like Void Rivals, Transformers, Duke, and Cobra Commander. Now that the heroes of this world have been established, the villainous Decepticons appear to be making moves in the shadows, preparing to strike.
The Energon Universe launched after a surprise Autobots cameo in Void Rivals, before launching three series detailing the first contacts between Earth and Cybertron. Duke and Cobra Commander both launch with just one issue, and both are planning to detail the origins of the influential groups, the G.I. Joes and Cobra.
Upcoming releases across the Energon Universe include Cobra Commander #2, Duke #2, TRANSFORMERS #5, and Void Rivals TP Vol. 1.
