The Future is a Hairtrigger Away in the First Looks at FALL OF THE HOUSE OF X #3 & RISE OF THE POWERS OF X #3

Marvel has revealed more information about the upcoming third issues of Fall of the House of X and Rise of the Powers of X. The two series are set to function as bookends to the Krakoan Era, echoing the structure of House of X and Powers of X, which launched this line back in 2019. Both Fall and Rise are five issue limited series and both issue threes will release in March.

In Fall of the House of X, writer Gerry Duggan and artist Lucas Werneck assemble a classic team of X-Men to defeat Orchis as they put Cyclops on trial. In the third issue of the series, the X-Men shift from defense to offense, as they retaliate against the villainous organization. Pepe Larraz illustrates the cover for the issue, which can be seen below.

Then, in Rise of the Power of X, a new, darker future is brought into focus as a group of surviving mutants struggle against the Dominion throughout time in space. That story will be brought to life by writer Kieron Gillen and artist R.B. Silva, and issue three teases the fate of Krakoa resting on an itchy trigger finger. Silva will also illustrate the cover to the issue, along with the interiors, which has been revealed below.
