Dark Horse Comics announces that Buckaroo Banzai returns to shelves with a reprint of Buckaroo Banzai Against the World Crime League, Et Al: A Compendium of Evils. The prose novel, written by the film’s original screenwriter E.M. Rauch, was previously published as a hardcover in 2021 and takes place after the events of the film. It follows everyone’s favorite scientist-surgeon-entertainer-daredevil in an adventure that spans the galaxy and bends reality.
The book will ship in a 6” x 9” paperback format with over six hundred pages of prose this May. Alongside the story, Julian Totino Tedesco illustrates a cover for the paper, which can be seen below:
