Skybound has revealed more details about the upcoming relaunch of Transformers #1, including a team roster for the book. When the issue launches this October from writer and artist Daniel Warren Johnson and colorist Mike Spicer, it will feature Optimus Prime, Ratchet, Cliffjumper, Arcee, and Wheeljack. Skybound has revealed each member daily via social media, and starting next week, they will do the same for the corresponding Decepticon team.
The launch of the Energon Universe spins out of a partnership between Skybound and Hasbro, and was officially announced after the surprise appearance of Jetfire in Robert Kirkman and Lorenzo De Felici’s Void Rivals #1. Along with Transformers and Void Rivals, Skybound has announced plans for Duke and Cobra, two miniseries establishing the G.I. Joes in the universe alongside the robots in disguise.
