The Marvel cosmology is still in a state of wild unrest thanks to the recent events of Grootfall, the introduction of mysterium, and the unification of the Kree and Skrull empires. The Guardians of the Galaxy are fractured, with a split focus on stopping Groot’s destructive tear through the universe, while the others are still trying to play Avengers of Space. So far, Rocket has been missing from the line-up, not aligned with any of the groups. But now, as Grootfall spills further out, Rocket returns with a bent towards law and order.
