Titan Comic Announces DOCTOR WHO and CONAN THE BARBARIAN Issues for FREE COMIC BOOK DAY 2024

Titan Comics announces two issues for the upcoming Free COmic Book Day 2024. Doctor Who: The Fifteenth Doctor will be written by Dan Watters as it celebrates the tenth anniversary of Doctor Who comics published by Titan. The comic features a story starring the soon to be seen 15th Doctor and his companion Ruby Sunday.

Doctor Who series editor Jake Devine discusses the new series in the press release, stating:

“Doctor Who Free Comic Book Day marks the first appearance of the Fifteenth Doctor in Titan Comics and I’m so excited – it feels like we’ve been waiting for this new era forever! We’ve got an incredible story to tell from a fresh creative team with a spectacular vision. I can’t wait for fans to get stuck in!”

The second issue from Titan is Conan the Barbarian from current Conan scribe Jim Zub and artist Jonas Scharf. The issue serves as a springboard for Battle of the Black Stone, an event that unveils a massive threat to the entire Hyborian Age. The threat spans across time and space, teasing a possible connection to the other works of Robert E. Howard.

Jim Zub describes the approach to the event in the press release, stating:

“There’s never been a Conan the Barbarian event book before, but that changes in 2024 with BATTLE OF THE BLACK STONE! The mythic power at the heart of Robert E. Howard’s legendary storytelling will be unleashed. Our Free Comic Book Day prelude issue is perfect for new readers as it sets the stage for high adventure, visceral action, and eldritch horror.”

Both issues will be in comic book shops on May 4, 2024.
