Cover swipes aren’t exactly new these days, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t popular! We recently discovered that Todd McFarlane (the creator of Spawn) has shown his appreciation for one of the most iconic covers from Marvel with an homage of his own, paying tribute to George Perez’s Infinity Gauntlet #1.
The cover swipe will be featured on Spawn Kills Everyone Too #3, which is an upcoming sequel series to 2016’s ‘Spawn Kills Everyone!’. The cover features Violator holding the Infinity Gauntlet in the place of Thanos, surrounded by various different “baby Spawns”.
The series will see Al Simmons once again take on the universe around him, leaving nothing but death in his path. Issue #1 is set to release on December 12, 2018, with the cover swipe issue #3 coming in February. See below for the full solicitation for Spawn Kills Everyone Too #3!
