DC revealed a first look at the upcoming Detective Comics #1090, which sees a new creative team taking over the series. Coming off the heels of the final issue of Ram V’s Batman operatic epic, #1090 hands the creative reins over to writer Tom Taylor, artist Mikel Janín, and letterer Wes Abbott on October 23. Part of the All In initiative, the story arc teases new twists to Batman’s origin and a new villain with a connection to the Dark Knight.
In addition to the interiors, Janín is also providing the main covers to the series. Some of the variant cover credits for #1090 include Dan Panosian, Bruno Redondo, Tony Harris, Ashley Wood, and Daniel Sampere.
