The Guardians of the Galaxy have traded their role as superheroes of the universe for a posse of defeated vagabonds. In the time between Al Ewing’s previous run and now, Groot has morphed into a planet consuming hivemind, Rocket is nowhere to be seen and the team is doing their best to save anyone possible. After losing a large chunk of a world’s population in the last issue, the group makes another attempt at protecting a world trapped in a civil war, while digging deeper into the mutant metal of Mysterium.
