Just as Marvel released the first two installments of the Krakoa Era’s final stories, Fall of the House of X and Rise of the Powers of X, more details about the ultimate betrayal of the mutants have emerged. Both series’ penultimate issues (#4) and their covers have been revealed, along with a tease at the incoming tragedies ready to befall mutant kind this April.
The two series from writers Kieron Gillen and Gerry Duggan and artists R.B. Silva and Lucas Werneck, look at the entirety of X-Men’s history in its preparation for a future for mutant kinds. Poisited on the notion that the only way to save mutant kind is to send them to the various lives of Moira, in an attempt to defeat Orchis and stop the Sinister Dominion from achieving its ultimate victory.
The covers for both issues, illustrated by Pepe Larraz and R.B. Silva respectively, can be seen below along with synopses for each issue.
