I get it, DC has some success with Batman ’89 and Superman ’78, so why shouldn’t Marvel do the same with X-Men ’97? Its obviously a smash hit, but I’m afraid we will be hit with another deluge of nostalgia-bait cartoons, comics, and films, when fans love to complain about it while simultaneously demanding it. I just don’t know if this is progress.
