Several folkloric figures are “the guardians,” who protect children’s happiness. A new guardian is appointed as an evil force arises. Modern holiday films either are generic romantic comedies or animated remakes of the classics. This is neither of those, this is an action movie and I’m all for it. Why? Let’s find out.
