Hideaki Anno’s Rebuild of Evangelion is a quartet of movies remaking, retelling, and escaping the earlier Neon Genesis Evangelion tv show, movies, and franchise, by the same director and many of the same cast and crew. It is an artistic achievement that might just stop time. Or, it might just make some.
