Fans of Batwoman and DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow have been waiting anxiously to learn whether the veteran Arrowverse shows would be renewed for a 4th and 8th season respectfully. The Flash was renewed for a nineth and final season but there was no word on Batwoman, Legends and Stargirl at that time. So fans have been waiting. And waiting. And waiting. The CW itself has been in the news as it eyes a possible sale, perhaps to Nexstar who is looking to reduce the number of scripted programs on the network. Well, The CW just reduced its scripted shows by two: Batwoman and DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow have been cancelled. No word yet on Stargirl but given the amount of time that has passed without word it is very likely to be a Gone-Stargirl.
Batwoman wrapped its third (and final) season a month or so ago and Legends leaves with seven seasons under their belt.
