Superior Sam – Everyone Needs A Home

Sam meets some furry friends and helps them find a home in this 16-page, fully colored, all-ages comic!

The Amazing Adventure of Superior Sam began with a simple idea that has transformed into a current nine-issue run of self-published comic books, but now with the help of Ageless Press we’re back with another awesome stand alone Superior Sam adventure! As an amputee, I wanted to give kids a way to see the world through an unconventional superhero’s eyes—Sam is a little boy, an amputee, and a superhero without any superpowers. With the help of his friends, they strive to make their school and town a better place. Having dealt with so much in the past, Sam and friends are always up for a new challenge and happy to help wherever they can. When the local animal shelter catches fire and some of the animals are left without a home, Sam and the team jump in to help! The comic is written by myself, Chris Barcomb, drawn by series artist John Nickerson, lettered by Noah Ray, and edited by Jason Jones. The comic itself is 16-pages (includes front, back covers, a title page, and interior pages), full color, and is a standard size comic. All comics will come bagged and boarded and ship in a comic mailer.

Journey of A Troubled Mind – Graphic Novel

Almost a Fairy Tale by Uros Savic

Almost a fairy tale. Journey of a Troubled Mind is a graphic novel/picture book inspired by classic fantasy novels, mythology, pop art, stories such as Alice in Wonderland, The Little Prince, and many more. Text and artwork work hand-in-hand to create a unique allegory. On the surface, it appears as a typical fairy tale about the hero’s journey. However, there is much more hiding between these pages. It is a diary of the unconscious mind, sort of a mirror for a shadow side of human nature. The underlying structure overlaps with the concepts of collective archetypes, mentioned first in the works of Swiss psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung.

WAYL: A Middle Eastern Graphic Novel

What Makes a Mortal? A 200+ page superhuman psychological thriller set in Amman, Jordan by Zaid Adham & Yasser Alireza

What Makes a Mortal? A 200+ page superhuman psychological thriller set in Amman, Jordan. Wayl as a concept began as a superhero graphic novel. Touching upon several facets of modern life in the region and based in Amman, Jordan, it introduced a super-being who came to be as a result of the avarice of the world surrounding him. When forlorn heir Sufyan El-Taher returns to pick up the large business empire of his deceased father, it sets off a series of events that sets the story in motion. To keep vision rooted in the real universe, the main antagonist Abu Shakoosh (Hammer Man) is based on the story of his namesake, the urban legend of the Amman serial killer who terrorized pharmacies at night in the early nineties.

THE NAZZ by Tom Veitch & Bryan Talbot

The story of a man transformed into something more than human…but far less than what he once was.

The campaign to publish the first-ever THE NAZZ collection by Tom Veitch & Bryan Talbot (with colors by Steve Whitaker & Les Dorscheid) after 32-years.

Michael Nazareth seeks perfection through the ancient idea that the life force itself is the doorway to obtaining superhuman powers. His search for the key to opening the door leads him to India and a grueling plunge into the darkest secrets of yoga, tantric rituals…and the warrior’s madness. This is the story of THE NAZZ, as he returns to America, a man transformed by his experiences into something more than human…but far less than what he once was. When Nazareth inadvertently kills a mugger with his bare hands, he becomes the focus of intense public scrutiny and is invited to join the Retaliators, a group of government sponsored crime fighters created to exploit America’s fascination with heroes. THE NAZZ is the tale of one man’s obsession with becoming such a hero…and mankind’s attempts to elevate him to the status of godhood. Written by Tom Veitch, with art by Bryan Talbot, will full process color by Steve Whitaker.
