All-Negro Comics 75th Anniversary Edition

The first anthology of Black characters created by Black cartoonists is remastered for today’s readers and beyond!

Three quarters of a century ago, Orrin C. Evans lead a team of cartoonists to create the first comic book anthology of original Black characters created by Black talent, with the express purpose of entertaining while rejecting harmful stereotypes and pushing boundaries in the industry. All-Negro Comics #1 should be among those revered moments in comic book history, but the original print run was quickly removed from newsstands and in the present day, All-Negro Comics is a factoid that cannot be easily found or read. Help me publish the All-Negro Comics 75th Anniversary Edition! This is a passion project I have been preparing for literal years. My entire career has been prologue to putting together the best presentation of this very necessary cultural exhibit.

Monkeys Fighting Robots: The Magazine #4

The COMIC CONVENTION Edition is here with a combination of curated comic strips and articles about impactful comic books.

The “drunken love child of Rolling Stone and MAD Magazine” is back, and this time, our focus is on COMIC CONVENTIONS. The magazine is a combination of comics and articles about comics from an experienced team of writers and artists. After discussing superheroes, the future of comics, and cartoonists in our previous installments, this issue we will tackle all things “comic book conventions.” Our team has articles lined up on Steve Ditko, the drunk side of Comic Con, dollar bin dives, conventions in comics, Spider-Man’s anniversary (the web-head looks great for 60!), and more, as well as our Best of 2022 and plenty of actual comics from some of our favorite rising star creators.

Sex on Wheels

Issue #1 of a comic book about disabled life, art, and sexuality.

Disabled people are just like everyone else. We have hopes and dreams, fears and insecurities. We want things, we fight for things, and like everyone else, we often lose. We have flaws. We drink, we smoke, we do drugs, and we swear. We also have sex. As our protagonist, Mo, tells the reader right up front on the very first page, the moral of this entire story is that crips f***, too. So this isn’t inspiration porn. It’s the story of a young woman with flaws, who drinks too much, and doubts herself, and puts too much stock in what others think. It’s the story of a young woman with real talent, in a field dominated by men and masculine imagery. It’s the story of a young woman grieving a deep, personal loss and trying not to lose herself in sorrow. And she’s disabled.

Joe Jusko’s Art of the 1992 Marvel Masterpieces

A celebration-in-book-form of the immensely popular trading card series that forever changed the non-sport card industry

Thirty years ago, a trading card series was released that would forever change the non-sport card industry. The 1992 Marvel Masterpieces.

Because of the sheer popularity of this series, it took an unprecedented 350,000 boxes to quench the thirst of card collectors worldwide. Nothing like it had been seen before nor since.

This series would not have become the monumental success that it did, had artist Joe Jusko not produced 104 mind-boggling paintings! Joe literally set the standard for all the Marvel Masterpieces series that were to follow. Each of the 104 paintings have become iconic portrayals of the great Marvel characters, and these cards hold such a special place in the hearts of collectors of all ages—many of whom were young, single-digit or teenaged fans at the time of the series release.
