Diamond Comic Distributors has released the full line-up of 2023’s Free Comic Book Day, totalling 44 issues that will be released May 6. There will be 11 titles from the Gold Sponsor, and 31 from the Silver Sponsor, the latter of which is focused on introducing readers to new titles and genres. Comics in the Gold section include Marvel’s Avengers/X-Men, IDW’s Star Trek, Titan’s Conan the Barbarian FCBD 2023 Special. The Silver section features books like BOOM!’s Mech Cadets FCBD Special, Vault Comic’s West of Showdown #1, and Valiant Entertainment’s Shadowman Dark Legacy FCBD Special.
“Every year, we strive to bring fans a memorable Free Comic Book Day experience, and we know comic book retailers are looking forward to treating everyone to a day of fun and discovery, so we hope fans will visit their local comic shops to celebrate,” said Ashton Greenwood, Free Comic Book Day spokesperson. “The variety of this year’s comic book selection is really exciting! There’s something for every kind of fan, from the long-time reader to the comic book curious.”
